Where are you based?
I live in Greystones, Co. Wicklow but travel throughout Ireland and abroad for photography shoots. Do you have a studio? Yes! My studio is located in Greystones, Co. Wicklow. However, I also love to locate venues for outdoor shoots.
What type of sessions do you photograph?
Life! I love to capture memories that your family will cherish for years to come. As a mother my heart leaps for the joy that children bring and the tenderness that new born babies bring inspires me as I photograph these moments. I also love to shoot weddings and other family occasions and take great joy in knowing that my work will help remind each couple of their love and commitment to each other.
Whats your style?
I love nature, and use it to where possible as a backdrop. I’m continually looking for something different, non-traditional and unique. I love to capture candid moments, smiles and playful giggles. I love to see people relaxed and comfortable and will guide you through the shoot in order to get the best from the photography session.
What locations do you use?
Aside from my studio near Greystones Marina, we in Wicklow we have so many options. Misty mountain backdrops, lakes and rivers, blonde sandy beaches, enchanted woodlands and the cityscape of Dublin all within easy driving distance. I have many recommendations but maybe you’ve found your own gem that we can explore together!
Can I print my images myself?
Yes. All my sessions include retouched images ready for printing from your digital download. You can also order fine art quality prints along with made made and locally sourced frames. How long does my session last?
Mini shoots are approx 20-30 minutes Regular shoots usually last 60-90 minutes. Newborn sessions 2-4 hours.
What do I wear?
For ideas on colour selection for what to wear for a shoot please see my Pinterest board for some inspiration and ideas. At my studio, I have a selection of maternity gowns, dresses, childrens clothes and newborn wraps for use.
Should I get my hair and makeup done professionally?
Yes, why not!?
What happens if the weather is bad?
Irish weather is unpredictable however cloudy weather is not a problem. If it is raining heavily I will contact you and rearrange for a more suitable time.
I’m excited to see my photos! When will they be ready?
Sneak peaks will be posted on my Instagram page and Facebook page usually within 24 hours. For a photoshoot, your online gallery will be available with 7-10 days. For a wedding, your online gallery will be available approx. 30 days after you wedding day but a sneak peak will also be featured on my social media pages.
